Wieland EconConsult has gained significant experience organizing conferences from 60 to 250 speakers and guests at the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Participants included an international audience of government officials, diplomats, politicians, academics and economic experts. Conference topics focused on increasing information exchange as well as adjusting tax regulation between non-member and member countries.
Since 2007, wieland EconConsult coordinates the Joint Lunchtime Seminar for the European Central Bank, Deutsche Bundesbank and the Center for Financial Studies in Frankfurt am Main. The seminar series aims to promote the presentation of high quality papers by researchers engaged in research in the areas of monetary economics, macroeconomics and banking and finance with results that are relevant to decision makers in the financial community. The seminars normally take place every week on Wednesday from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. and are by invitation only.
